FINDINGS :

No previous MRI exam is available for comparison.There is modest amount of joint effusion or hemathrosis with suggested synovitis and thin medial plica.Medial & lateral menisci appeared normal and intact.Mild sprain or previous partial injury of proximal to mid PCL ACL,MCL,FCL,ITB, popliteus and biceps femoris tendon are grossly intact.Two horizontal screw tracts through lateral femoral condyle are noted.Early osteoarthritis of medial compartment is suggested as chondromalacia with partial chondral thinning at peripheral weight-bearing area of medial compartment.Mild osteoarthritis of lateral compartment is shown as mild chondromalacia at weight-bearing area and marginal osteophyte formation.Old fracture of peripheral inferior lateral patellar facet is noted.Infra-patellar fibrosis could be related to prior operation.Marked thickening and increased signal intensity of lateral patellar retinaculum could be from previous injury.The rest of extensor mechanism appeared intact.Mild chondromalacia patella.Diffuse irregular chondral thinning / defect of femoral trochlear with subchondral marrow signal change at lateral trochlear is noted.Included musculature and major neurovascular structures are unremarkable.

IMPRESSION :

-There is modest amount of joint effusion or hemathrosis with suggested synovitis and thin medial plica

-Medial & lateral menisci appeared normal and intact.

-Mild sprain or previous partial injury of proximal to mid PCL

-Previous injury or lateral patellar retinaculum

-Other ligaments a tendons are grossly intact.

-Two horizontal screw tracts through lateral patellar facet.

-Old fracture of peripheral inferior lateral patellar facet.

-Osteoarthritis is shown; early on medial and mild on lateral compartment.

-Mild chondromalacia patella.

-Diffuse irregular chondral thinning / defect of femoral trochlear with subchondral marrow signal change at lateral trochlear

อาการรุงแรงมากไหมครับ ?

ปกติผมเล่นบาส แข่งบาสบ่อย ถ้าผ่าตัด จะกลับมาเป็นเหมือนเดิมได้ไหม ?
